Roberts to play in All Canadian boys basketball game

Chatham’s Caleb Roberts has been named to the roster of the CWENCH All Canadian boys basketball game, which will be held April 5 at the Athletic Institute in Mono ON.
Roberts, a six-foot point guard, has played the past three years at Ridley College in St. Catharines. He played his first two years of basketball for the Ursuline Lancers, under head coach Jim Dunlop.
The CWENCH All Canadian basketball games feature the top 24 senior male and female Canadian high school basketball players who are either Canadian-born or enrolled in a Canadian institution.
The top 24 athletes will come to Athlete Institute to work with Canadian coaches and trainers in a series of events including on-and-off court training, practices and scrimmages in front of NBA scouts and GMs, the Team Town Sports Slam-Dunk & 3-Point Challenges, and the boys and girls All Canadian Games.
The CWENCH All Canadian Games have featured the top high school basketball talent in Canada. Current NBA players RJ Barrett, Jamal Murray, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Nickeil Alexander-Walker, Lu Dort, OshaeBrissett, Andrew Nembhard, Benedict Mathurn and Zach Edey.
The game has taken place since 2015, and was previously sponsored by BioSteel.
Caleb’s brother C.J. Roberts also plays for Ridley College. He was recently chosen as the NPA’s Defensive Player of the Year.
