Lancers win fifth consecutive spring volleyball crown

The Ursuline Lancer won the South West Ontario 18U Spring League Volleyball Championship for the fifth straight year earlier this month in Walkerton.

The Lancers split their squad into two teams for the four tournament season and went into the playoffs seeded first and second.

In the semifinals, Lancer Blue defeated Stratford 2-0 while Lancer Grey defeated Big Bruce 2-0.

In the final, Lancer Grey defeated Lancer Blue 25-23, 18-25, 15-13 to claim the title.
