Arquette plays key part of Rangers Memorial Cup win

Wheatley’s Cameron Arquette was a key player on the Memorial Cup winning Kitchener Rangers team.

The Rangers beat the Everett Silvertips 6-2 in the final held in Kelowna on May 31, to win the Canadian junior hockey championship.

In four games at the Memorial Cup, Arquette had a goal and two assists.

The Rangers advanced to the Memorial Cup after beating the Barrie Colts in the Ontario Hockey League final series.Arquette had five goals and four assists in 18 games during the OHL playoffs.

This is the 19 year-old’s second full season playing with Kitchener. In 68 games he had 17 goals, 28 assists for 45 points. He was the only player on the team to appear in all regular season and playoff games.

Arquette was drafted by the Kichener Rangers in fourth round of the 2023 OHL draft.

A celebration in Wheatley in being planned for some time this summer.
