Dresden's TJ Brodie is Heating Up in Texas

TJ Brodie of Dresden (Chatham-Kent) is heating up with the Abbotsford Heat - Chatham-Kent Sports NetworkT.J. Brodie apparently likes playing hockey in Texas. The Dresden native picked up four points as his Abbotsford Heat squad made its way through the Lone Star State this past week. On Jan. 26, T.J. scored a goal in a 4-2 loss to San Antonio.  Two nights later, he had an assist in a 4-3 loss to Houston, but he came back on Jan. 29 to score a goal and pick up an assist in a 5-4 Heat win over the Texas Stars. T.J. is now off to Hershey, Pennsylvania, where he will play in the American Hockey League all-star classic on Jan. 31….

Wallaceburg’s Seth Griffith continued his points production streak this week, picking up three more assists as the London Knights beat the Niagara Icedogs, 7-6, on Jan. 27.  Last week, Seth was named the OHL’s Player of the Week…

Chatham’s Brad Houston had a three assist weekend as his Adrian College Bulldogs took a pair of Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association games from Finlandia University, 6-1 and 9-2….

Cornell University’s Tyler Roeszler of Chatham picked up an assist in a 2-2 tie with Dartmouth University on Jan. 28.
