ESPC Dominates at Ridgetown Junior and Senior Badminton Invitationals

ESPC (Pain Court) Patriotes dominate the RDHS Badminton Invitational - Chatham-Kent Sports News

Ridgetown, ON – Known across the province for their exceptional badminton programs, the ESPC (Pain Court) Patriotes cleaned up last week at the Ridgetown District High School Badminton Invitationals.

Wednesday, RDHS hosted a senior badminton tournament. Here, Pain Court (ESPC) captured four of five divisions:

Girls Singles

1st ESPC: Nicole Rossignol
2nd CKSS: Sarah Mitchinson

Girls Doubles

1st ESPC: Cassandra Faubert & Emily Pepper
2nd UMEI: Karlee Driedger & Elyse Epp

Mixed Doubles

1st ESPC: Courtney Postma & Justin Mayer
2nd ESPC: Paige Coyne & Luc Brisson 

Boys Doubles

1st ESPC: Seb Sadler & Kaylobe Derynck
2nd UMEI: Chris Warkentin & Mike Zuiderveen

Boys Singles

1st LDSS: Ryan Phan
2nd SFX: Justin Bourassa

In the Ridgetown Junior Badminton tournament held the next night, ESPC again captured two of the five divisions, but this time received stiff competition from Saint Francis Xavier.

Mixed Doubles
