Wheatley Sharks Look to Rebound in Game Two Versus Belle River
After being dominated in the first game of the Great Lakes Junior C Final, the Wheatley Sharks will be looking to rebound tonight in game two of their best of seven series as they welcome the defending champion Belle River Canadiens to Wheatley Area Arena.
In the first game of the series, Belle River doubled up the Wheatley Sharks 6-3 led by playoff scoring ace Nik Dobrich. Shawn Quigley, Andy Stevenson, and Kurtis Ouellette scored for the Wheatley Sharks who were outplayed and outshot in the game. Wheatley however, was able to put away the regular season champion Wallaceburg Lakers at home during game 6 of their semi-final series, and now hope to repeat that home ice magic as they take on Belle River.
