South Buxton Raceway Opening Night Saturday

After weeks of rainy weather, South Buxton Raceway is hoping to open their season Saturday, May 14.

With heavy rains falling across Chatham-Kent in recent weeks, the entire South Buxton facility has been unmanageable according to South Buxton’s website, however, weather permitting, doors will open at 5:30pm Saturday, with races starting at 7:00pm.

The 2011 season at South Buxton marks the tracks 40th Anniversary of South Buxton Raceway.

Held in conjunction with Ohsweken Speedway, the highlight of the South Buxton season will be Northern Summer Nationals sprint car series. The National Summer Nationals events at South Buxton Raceway will be held on June 24 and August 20 this summer.
