Chatham Attack Lose Heartbreaker Final in Ohio

The U-16 Chatham Attack travelled to North Olmsted, Ohio this past weekend and competed in the NOSO (North Olmsted Soccer Organization) Cup tournament on Saturday July 2nd and July 3rd in a U16/U17 division. After a stellar weekend, the Attack lost a heartbreaker in the championship game to a strong team from Texas.

Below are results from each game the Chatham Attack played:

On Saturday July 2nd

  • Chatham won 5-1 against the Ohio Rayos.  Goal Scorers were Chad Schnekenburger (2), Macks Holmes, Michael Kilby, and Kyle Bakker.
  • Chatham won 5-0 against North Olmsted.  Goal Scorers were Mitchell Hakker, Aaron Brady, Kyle Bakker, Keegan Pittuck and Chad Schnekenburger.  Tristen Padbury had the shutout.

On Sunday July 3rd

  • Chatham won 5-0 against the Bees Soccer.  Goal Scorers were Chad Schnekenburger (3) and Curtis Lemieux (2).  Tristen Padbury had the shutout.
  • Chatham lost in the Championship game 2-0 against the San Elizario Texas Cosmos.

The Chatham Attack U16 team’s next game is on Thursday July 7th at 8:30pm against Norwest Marconi Phoenix at the Marconi Club in London.  Chatham’s next home game is Tuesday July 12th at 7pm at Thames Campus.
