After a three game recall to the NHL’s Boston Bruins, Wallaceburg’s Seth Griffith has been re-assigned to the American Hockey League’s Providence Bruins.

Griffith, who spent last season with the Providence Bruins where he scored 20 goals and 30 assists in 69 games, was the first player recalled this season to the Bruins, and spent three games on Boston’s top line alongside Milan Lucic and David Krejci.

In three games, facing Colorado, Detroit, and Boston, Seth Griffith had 4 shots and was a -2, while playing 18 shifts a game and averaging roughly fifteen and a half minutes per game. Griffith was also a regular on Boston’s first powerplay unit.

A 5th round draft pick of the Bruins in 2012, 131st overall, Griffith is entering his second professional hockey season after finishing his OHL career with the London Knights.
