Clements Wins UFC Return

Dresden’s Chris Clements won his first UFC fight in over a year decisively as part of UFC Fight Night 55 in Sydney, Australia.

Fighting Vik Grujic, Chris Clements took a first round TKO at 3:06 on punches.

After a slow start to the round following a Grujic takedown, Clements fought back to his feet and started landing a series of overhand rights, damaging and unbalancing Grujic.

As the round progressed, Clements landed a knee, followed by more overhand punches, which eventually led to the TKO.

Not fighting since September 2013 after having, and recovering from shoulder surgery, Clements made the triumphant return, improving his professional record to 12-5 and UFC record to 2-1.
