CKSS Hands Out Athletic Awards

The school’s top athletes packed into the Ed Myers Gym at CKSS to celebrate a year of success, which culminated this past weekend with a LKSSAA football title, four medals at OFSAA track and field, and an appearance at the OFSAA girls soccer championships.
Lee Kucera and Kara Hueniken were the male and female athletes of the year. The pair of grade 12 students will also represent the school this Thursday at the Dr. Jack Parry Award Ceremony.
At the Junior level, Ally Oulds and Carson Lewis were named the Junior Athletes of the Year.
Grade 9 students Delainey Johnson and Darko Borovicanin were the Rookies of the Year.
