The Calgary Flames were without 2 of their top guns last night and it showed. Both TJ Brodie and Sam Bennett were out with upper body injuries.  The Arizona Coyotes chewed up the Flames 4-1, last night in the NHL

OMHA playoff action tonight the Wallaceburg Minor Midget BB team open up the finals at the Walpole Island Sports Complex against the Erin-hillsburgh Devils. Tthe South Kent Chiefs face the Lincoln Blades this evening at home,  the Chiefs are trailing in the series 1 game to none.  The Dresden Minor Midget Reps start their series with the Tweed Hawks tonight at home game time is 7 o’clock.

The Vancouver Stealth will face the Toronto Rock tomorrow in National Lacrosse league action.

The Wallaceburg Thrashers have announced their first game of the 2016 season.  The Thrashers will be  hosting the Ennismore James Gang on Saturday, April 23, at Wallaceburg Memorial Arena game time is set for 4 p.m.

A big break for Chatham’s Chad Laprise as he gets bumped up to fight in Australia.  Laprise will replace American Abel Trujillo, to fight against Ross Pearson next week in Brisbane.  This is a great opportunity Chad.
