The Chatham Outlaws Novice girls hockey team won the WOGHL Division II Championship on Sunday, winning a three game series against the Sarnia Lady Sting.

In Game 1 on Saturday March 26th in Sarnia, Chatham took a 3-1 victory to open the series. Libby Pink scored for Chatham to open the game, with an assist by Kalli Bechard. In period 2, Meghan Fife scored from Jacqueline DesRosiers and Addison Arnold, followed by a third period marker from Isabella Raspburg, with assists going to Tessa Vandehogen and Libby Pink.

Game 2 took place on Saturday, April 2nd in Chatham, with the teams playing to a 2-2 tie.

After two scoreless periods for the Outlaws, Libby Pink and Meghan Fife scored for Chatham, with Sandie Bear and Tessa Vendehogen collecting assists.

Finally, Chatham closed out the series Sunday at home, again beating Sarnia by a 3-1 score.

Tessa Vandehogen, Pink, and Fife scored again for the Outlaws, with Hayden Heinhuis, Jacqueline DesRosiers, and Kalli Bechard assisting in the win. The goalie in all three games was Emily Harper.
