Durston Named Outstanding Rookie
Wallaceburgs’ Jordan Durston was named one of this years co-recipients of the Major Series Lacrosse League Sr. “A” Gene Dopp Memorial Trophy for Outstanding Play in first year of competition.
Durstons’ fantastic rookie season with the Senior “A” Six Nations Arrows, was also accompanied by an exceptional rookie season with the Vancouver Stealth of the National Lacrosse League.
In 17 games with the Stealth, Jordan netted 17 goals and 21 assists for 38 points. While playing with the Arrows, Durston sniped 19 goals, dished 21 assists for 40 points, good enough to find him 17th in the league.
