Chatham Y Pool Shark Kendra Polewski is taking her swim cap to Ohio’s Findlay University.

Polewski’s scholarship will begin in the fall of 2018.

“Kendra transferred to the Shark just about a year ago,” explained head coach Kyle Pinsonneault. “Since transferring she has not only hit all her best times but established her name on the national level again. She has improved so much over the year and I look forward to seeing how she develop her final senior year here in Chatham before heading to Ohio.”

Kendra impressed at the Canadian Jr National Swimming Championships in Toronto earlier this year, finishing 8th (27.27) in the country in the 50m girls 15-17 race, while taking 10th in the 100m butterfly (1:03.35), and 9th in the 100m freestyle (58.43).

The Pool Sharks wish Polewski all the best in the next chapter of her swimming career.
