The Chatham Maroons put up a convincing win in front of their home crowd Sunday night, blanking the visiting Komoka Kings 5-0.

Ryan Wagner made 34 saves in the victory with more than 800 fans on hand.

The line of Steven Fowler, Jordan Frasca, and Dane Johnstone had chemistry all night as well, connecting for Chatham’s first four goals.

Fowler scored the first two goals with Frasca and Johnstone assisting on each, followed by Johnstone scoring the next two with his linemates returning the help.

Josh King scored the other Chatham Maroons goal, unassisted in the third period.

The win brought the Chatham Maroons’ record to .500 on the season, sitting at 17-17-1-1, good for 6th place in the GOJHL’s Western Conference. Chatham trails the St. Thomas Stars by 7-points.
