Hawks Repeat As LKSSAA Hockey Champions
After playing most of the opening frame scoreless, Hunter Gagner snapped the deadlock with 16 seconds remaining in the opening frame on a top corner slapshot from the point, and the Hawks never looked back.
Gagner would add another goal in the second period, as would Megan Hakr and Jocelyn Maryschak.
Hakr scored again in the third period for her second of the game.
The CKSS team enters the SWOSSAA final with a 20-1 record, losing only their first game of the season at a tournament in Stratford.
The Hawks also won the Southern Ontario Classic in Windsor, and the Flames Cup in London this season.
