LKSSAA Soccer, Rugby Kicks Off This Week

After a wet weekend, the LKSSAA senior girls and boys soccer and rugby schedules are set to get underway this week, with more questionable weather on the way.

Wednesday in Senior Boys action, Wallaceburg hosts Northern (3:00pm), CKSS visits St. Pat’s (3:30pm), and Ursuline hosts Great Lakes (4:30pm).

On the girls side, St. Pat’s hosts CKSS (2:00pm), Wallaceburg welcomes Northern (3:00pm), and Great Lakes visits Ursuline (3:00pm).

Last year, Northern won the girls ‘AAA’ title, while Wallaceburg won the ‘AA’ crown, and Pain Court captured the ‘A’ league. The boys champions were St. Pat’s (AAA), LCCVI (AA), and Lambton-Kent (A).

Local rugby also gets underway this week, with Blenheim hosting UCC on Wednesday at 4:00pm.
