Wallaceburg’s Seth Griffith had a spectacular weekend in the American Hockey League scoring 5 goals and an assist in 2 games for the Manitoba Moose.

Friday night Griffith scored a pair of goals in a 5-3 win over the Grand Rapids Griffins.

Griffith followed that performance up with a hat trick and an assist Sunday in a 7-4 win over the Griffins.

Through 10 games this season, Griffith has 6 goals and 11 points leading the Manitoba Moose.

Griffith re-signed this offseason with the NHL’s Winnipeg Jets, but was assigned to Manitoba during the NHL preseason.

His weekend tallies also helped Griffith score his 100th career AHL goal.
