Chatham Golden Eagles Girls Softball – A Maple City Homes Home Team

Chatham-Kent is home to a wide variety of ammenities, including quality sports organizations for youth and adults.

In this week’s Maple City Homes Home Team feature, we look at the Chatham Golden Eagles, Chatham’s girls softball association.

The Chatham Girls Minor Softball Association was established in the 1980s with a mission of promoting a positive competitive attitude, instilling self-confidence and nurturing the principles of teamwork, character, respect, and integrity in their athletes.

The Eagles provides softball programs at the local and travel levels for for Chatham-Kent youth aged 5-19.

The organization, which plays at a variety of parks across the Municipality, calling Blythe Park their home field, takes pride in providing a safe and fun environment, in which athletes can develop the skills needed to transition from beginner programs to advanced levels.
