In the Sutherland Cup home ice advantage is just a rumour so far.

The Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League best-of-seven final is tied 1-1, as both the Chatham Maroons and St. Catharines Falcons have each won a game on the road.

The Maroons won Game 1 in St. Catharines 7-3 on May 2. Eamon Edgar, an affiliate player with the Maroons, scored three goals for Chatham.

Edgar was recently a second-round draft choice by the Barrie Colts in the recent OHL draft.

St. Catharines won in Chatham on Sunday night by a 5-2 score. The game was 1-1 heading into the third period, but the Falcons scored early in the third period to go up 2-1. Pressing to tie the game up, the Maroons gave up two empty net goals. Chatham scored to make it 4-2, but gave up another empty netter with 30 seconds left to ice the game.

Game 3 is scheduled for Tuesday night (May 6), in Chatham, with a puck drop of 7:30 p.m. Game 4 will be in St. Catharines on Thursday night and Game 5 is scheduled for Friday in Chatham.

Three games in four nights is a lot of hockey in a short amount of time.
