Airhawks bounce back to win tournament championship

The Wallaceburg Airhawks U19 boys team had an impressive showing this past weekend at the NSU Summer Heat tournament in Mississauga.

The Airhawks defeated Elton Academy in the gold-medal game with an 95-85 high-energy win.

The Airhawks opened the tournament with a 35 point loss to Elton Academy. However, the team demonstrated resilience and heart, bouncing back with a 61–57 victory over Phoenix Elite. They carried that momentum into their third game, dominating Collège André-Grasset with a decisive 62–26 win to advance to the final against the team that handed them their initial loss.
