Six Barnstormers going to IBL all-star game

Six Chatham-Kent Barnstormers are scheduled to take part in the Intercounty Baseball League all-star game being held on Sunday, July 20, in Hamilton.

Second baseman Evan Morrison and relief pitcher Garret Day were named starters for the IBL South team. Morrison is having a terrific year, batting .394, with three home runs and 15 RBI.

Day is also having a great season so far, with five saves and a 0.87 ERA in 10 appearances.
Pitcher Yuri Yokoyama, outfielder Spencer Marcus, infielder Sadler Goodwin, and catcher Mitsuki Fukuda, were named as reserves for the South team.
