Shognosh named OJLL goalie of the year
Waukiigan Shognosh won the Sanderson Memorial Award, which goes to the Ontario Junior Lacrosse League’s goaltender of the year.
Walpole Island’s Shognosh is in his first year playing for the Junior A Peterborough Lakers.
Shognosh was 15-8-0 with a 7.51 goals-against average and .851 save percentage.
Peterborough picked Shognosh with the second overall pick in the 2024 OJLL draft.
Last year with the Wallaceburg Red Devils, Shognosh was named the Ontario Jr. B Lacrosse League’s West Conference rookie of the year.
