Schinkelshoek golden at Canada Games

Pain Court’s Gavin Schinkelshoek competed at the Canada Games in Nfld., swimming for Team Ontario.

Swimming for Team Ontario, Pain Court’s Gavin Schinkelshoek won six gold at the Canada Games in Newfoundland.

The swimming sensation also added a silver, a bronze and a fourth place finish in the pool.

Here are his results:

Gold- 50 back, 100 back, 100 free, 4×100 mixed free relay (he swam first with a best time), 4×100 male medley relay (he swam back with a best time), 4×100 mixed medley relay (he swam back with a best time)

Silver- 50 free

Bronze- 200 back (beat his best time by more than two seconds)

Fourth 4×100 free relay (he swam anchor. They were just 0.7sec out of third)

Schinkelshoek swims with the Windsor Aquatic Club.
