The Wolves will be howling in Wallaceburg once again.
This Friday marks the annual Aaron Van Dorsselaer Grand Slam as Community Living Wallaceburg’s Wallaceburg Wolves Baseball Team will take on Team Select Finishing in their end-of-season game.
In memory of her late husband Aaron, Rachel Van Dorsselaer will be throwing out the first pitch at Wallaceburg’s Kinsmen Park promptly at 5 pm.
“There’s nothing like the excitement when a Wolf rounds the bases after a big hit, it’s contagious,” said Coach Allison Thain, Manager Support Operations at CLW. “Whether you’re a player or a fan, everyone is part of the pack.”
The public is invited to cheer on the Wolves and their opponents. The game will be followed by a free barbecue, sponsored by the Wallaceburg Sports Hall of Fame and Select Finishing.
