Lancers volleyball dynasty continues

The Ursuline College Lancers defeated the Chatham-Kent Hawks to win the LKSSAA AAA championship on Friday in the Lancer Dome.

The Hawks kept it close, as the Lancers won 3-1 (26-24, 25-22, 19-25, 25-22).

It was the Lancers for their sixth straight LKSSAA Championship.

Ursuline defeated Great Lakes 3-0 in the semi-finals, while Chatham-Kent defeated St. Pat’s 3-0 to advance to the LKSSAA final.

With the win the Lancers move on to play Windsor St Joe’s Tuesday for the SWOSSAA championship.
