Local slo-pitch players playing at international event

Several local slo-pitch players will take part the USSAA Challenge Cup, representing Canada.
The competitions run over four weekends, from January 8 to February 22 at the Space Coast Complex in Melbourne, Florida.
Chatham’s Austin Bentley and Brandon Jenner were named to the Men’s B team, made up of players from Ontario. Wheatley’s Yolanda Bueckert was named to the women’s C team, which is made up of players from Ontario.
Chatham’s Shane Carder is on the men’s E1 team, made up of players from Ontario.
The Challenge Cup is an annual event that bills itself as Challenge Cup tournament as the “Olympics of Softball” made up of state/provincial/country teams.
