Branton talks to current LKSSAA swimmers

Pain Court’s Payton Rinas and Gavin Schinkelshoek each won three individual events at the season’s first LKSSAA swim league meet held last week at the Wallaceburg Sydenham Pool.
Six teams from across Lambton-Kent took part.
Rinas won the open girls’ 100-yard freestyle, 200 freestyle, and 100 butterfly.
Schinkelshoek won the open boys’ 50 freestyle, 200 freestyle, and 100 butterfly.
Pain Court’s Jack Harrigan, Sullivan Merilees and Xavier Caron, along with Wallaceburg’s Dylan Kloet each won an individual event.
Pain Court won four relays.
Former Wallaceburg Tartan swimmer Shona Branton spoke to the swimmers at the meet. Branton has excelled at Western University, winning provincial and national golds. She won bronze at the World University Games held earlier this year.
