Zomerman named to all-rookie team

Dresden’s Jeramiah Zomerman has made an impact in his first season with the Redeemer Royals men’s volleyball team, earning a spot on the OCAA West All-Rookie Team.

Zomerman, a Chatham Christian grad, quickly established himself as a dynamic outside hitter for the Royals. He had a breakout performance in the regular season against Conestoga Condors, where he poured in a season-high 19.0 points.

In his playoff debut, Zomerman delivered 20 points in the opening round.

Redeemer lost in the OCAA quarterfinal to the nationally ranked No. 13 Seneca Sting on the weekend.
