Maroons gunning for the number one seed

As the final week of the regular season winds down, the Chatham Maroons are gunning for the number one seed in the GOHL’s Western Conference.

The Maroons currently sit tied for first with Elmira with 73 points. St. Mary’s is one point back with 72 points.

The Maroons have a big game Wednesday in Elmira, followed by a road game in Komoka on Saturday and a home finale against Stratford on Sunday at Chatham Memorial Arena.

The Maroons beat Waterloo 5-3 on Sunday, which was the Maroons eighth straight victory.
