Caleb Roberts commits to Dallas Baptist University

Chatham’s Caleb Roberts announced his commitment to play basketball for Dallas Baptist University for this upcoming season.

Roberts, a six-foot point guard, spent the past three years playing at Ridley College. He spent his first two years in high school playing for the Ursuline Lancers, leading them to the OFSAA tournament in 2023.

Dallas Baptist Patriots are one of the top NCAA Division II programs in the U.S., as they advanced to the Division II final four in 2025, and just missed advancing to the Sweet 16 this past season.

This past season, Roberts led St. Catharines prep school Ridley College to its first National Preparatory Association boys’ basketball championship. He scored 27 points in the final and added 11 rebounds in a 98-84 win over King Heights Academy.

One of the top high school basketball recruits in Canada, Roberts was a Ontario Scholastic Basketball Association first-team all-star.
