Chatham Sports Hall of Fame hands out annual bursaries

The Chatham Sports Hall of Fame recently announced their 2026 bursary winners.

The four winners include: Josh Smith (Chatham Christian School), Madison Owen (Chatham-Kent Secondary School), Logan Lucarelli (John McGregor Secondary School), and Josh Blundy (Ursuline College Chatham).

The Chatham Sports Hall of Fame has presented a bursury to a graduating student of each of Chatham’s four secondary schools for the past 23 years.

The bursary recipient is a person who has contributed significantly to the betterment of athletics in his/her time unselfishly performing one or more of the following tasks: coaching, managing, scoring, timing, fundraising or serving with the athletic society to improve the school’s athletic program.

The awards include a certificate and a $500 bursury.
