Chatham-Kent baseball players earn silver medal

Dylan Tremblay, Royce Brooks and Avery Brooks were finalists at the 2026 Baseball Ontario 18U elimination tournament with the London Badgers.
Three Chatham baseball players earned silver medals at the U18 OBA AAA National Qualification tournament held this past weekend in Burlington.
Dylan Tremblay, Royce Brooks and Avery Brooks played for the London Badgers U18 team, which lost in the final to Mississauga North 11-2. Mississauga North will now represent Ontario at the national tournament that will be held in Alberta.
London beat Mississauga North to advance to the final, but lost in a rematch in the final, in the double-elimination 17-team tournament.
Dylan Tremblay is an outfielder, Royce Brooks is a second baseman and Avery Brooks is a first baseman.
Royce Brooks is a recent Ursuline College graduate. He has committed to play baseball at Jamestown Community College in Jamestown N.Y.
Avery Brooks is a recent Pain Court Secondary School graduate, who will be going to Brock in the fall, and will play for the Brock Badgers baseball team.
Tremblay is a student at Chatham-Kent Secondary School.
