Henderson having a big season in Riverside

Dover Centre’s Gabe Henderson is having a strong season playing for the Riverside Royals U8 AAA baseball team.

Henderson and his Royal teammates will be competing in the Ontario Baseball Association AAA championships from August 27- 30, hosted by the Windsor Stars AAA baseball club. Their first game is against the Oakville A’s AAA today (August 27) at noon.

Henderson is currently is playing third base and second in team hitting with 91 hits in 133 At Bats, 59 singles, 28 doubles, 4 triples. Batting clean up, Henderson leads the team in RBIs with 72 RBI.

Gabe also plays hockey for the Kent Cobras U9MD hockey club coached by Josh Johnston.
