Stonehouse on Hockey Canada’s national women’s development hockey team

Blenheim’s Abby Stonehouse has been named one of the 22 players on Hockey Canada’s national women’s development roster for a three-game series against the United States this week in Richmond, B.C.

Canada’s National Development team will be led by Vicky Sunohara.

The first game is tonight (August 12), with the second game tomorrow night and the final game on Saturday.

Stonehouse has played for Canada twice before. She was on the IIHF U18 women’s world gold medal team in 2023, and earned bronze with Canada in 2024.

Stonehouse is going into her junior season as a member of the Penn State women’s hockey team.
