Baker and Richter win GOHL monthly awards

Following their hot start to the GOHL regular season, two Chatham Maroon players received league Collins Clothiers player of the month honours.
Dylan Richter was named player of the month, while Andrew Baker was named rookie-of-the-month. St. Thomas Stars goalie Dylan Durno was named goalie-of-the-month.
In six games, Richter had seven goals and nine assists for 16 points.
The fifth-year forward from Parkhill finished the month with multiple points in each of his six games, leading the Maroons to a 5-1 record. He recorded his fourth career four-point game and first career hat trick in a 5-4 loss to Stratford on the 27th. His second goal of that game was his 150th career GOHL point.
The 5th round pick of the North Bay Battalion in 2022 is tied with teammate Andrew Baker for the GOHL scoring lead and his three power play goals are tied for most among league scorers.
In five games, Baker had five goals and 11 assists. He also made his OHL debut in September.
The rookie forward from Woodslee led all GOHL rookies in scoring; six points more than the next highest scoring rookie.
A ninth round pick by the Guelph Storm in 2025, Baker had points in all five games, including four game with three or more points. The highlight was a 5-point effort (1 goal, 4 assists) in Chatham’s 6-2 victory over Komoka in their home-opener on the 13th.
