Burke Bechard Suiting Up For Team Ontario

Dover Centre’s Burke Bechard will again suit up for Team Ontario’s basketball program this summer, this time at the Under-15 level.

Standing 5’9″, Bechard is a grade nine student at Chatham-Kent Secondary School, but has missed much of this athletic year after suffering a torn ACL last year, while preparing with the Team Ontario Under-14 team.

After sitting out her season with the Chatham-Kent Secondary School Golden Hawks, Bechard, who is widely considered Chatham-Kent’s top basketball prospect, alongside recent NCAA commit Bridget Carleton, suited up at the end of 2014 with the London Ramblers JUEL Prep team.

Back on the courts for only a short period of time, Bechard will now prepare at several tournaments with Team Ontario’s U15 squad prior to competing at the National Championships in Edmonton, Alberta this July 25-30.
