For the second straight year, Tilbury’s Brett Brochu has been invited to participate in Canada’s Nation Junior team summer camp.

Brochu was one of five goaltenders invited, including Dylan Garand, who returns from last year’s World Junior roster, prospects Sebastian Cossa and Tristan Lennox, and Washington draft pick Garin BJorklund.

Brochu burst into the OHL two seasons ago collecting the league’s lowest goals against average, second best save percentage, breaking a record for most wins by a rookie, and earning goalie of the month honours multiple times.

This past season, Brochu practiced, and appeared in one game for the AHL’s Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.

The summer development camp will take place from, July 28 to August 4 at the Seven Chiefs Sportsplex on the Tsuut’ina Nation near Calgary.
