Top Chatham-Kent hockey talent on display

The Athletes Fuel Cup begins Tuesday (July 29) at Thames Campus Arena.

The hockey tournament gives local professional, junior, college and other top hockey prospects a chance to play in high-level games to get ready for their upcoming seasons. Admission to the games is free.

The tournament is sponsored by Athletes’ Fuel Strength and Conditioning, with three teams taking part, captained by Seth Griffith (AHL Bakersfield Condors), Deni Goure (AHL/ECHL) and Anthony Lucarelli (Long Island University).

Round-robin games are played Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30 and 7:45 p.m. for three weeks. The semifinals and final will be Tuesday, Aug. 19.
