Seth Griffith celebrates his goal for the Bakersfield Condors
Wallaceburg’s Seth Griffith finished the AHL regular season fifth in league scoring – the third time in the last five seasons he’s been in the league’s top five in scoring.
In 71 games, Griffith scored 18 goals and added 49 assists for 67 points.
Griffith plays for the Bakersfield Condors—the top affiliate for the Edmonton Oilers. The captain of the Condors, he has now led the team in scoring for the fifth straight season.
In January, Bakersfield signed Griffith to a two-year extension, which will keep him in California for through the 2027-28 season.
Bakersfield opens the Calder Cup playoffs this Thursday with a best-of-three series against the Coachella Valley Firebirds.

Griffith had a strong season off-the-ice as well. He and his wife welcomed their second child. Griffith was also recently named the Bakersfield Condors’ nominee for the American Hockey League’s man of the year Award.
A two-year captain of the team, Griffith was involved in a number of community endevours during the 2025-26 season. This year’s teddy bear toss goal scorer, Griffith delivered thousands of bears to dozens of non-profits through the United Way in November. In December, he was the team’s captain for KUZZ Cares for Kids at Christmas, bringing cheer and gifts for a family of nine in need over the holidays. In January, Griffith spearheaded a trip to the Ronald McDonald House of Bakersfield in partnership with Dignity Health to visit with families in the hospital and thank staff for their tireless work. In February, he was a champion for the team’s Condors Fighting Cancer initiative, helping raise over $35,000 for local pediatric cancer warriors.
Griffith is now one of 32 finalists for the Yanick Dupre Memorial Award. The AHL’s annual Man of the Year award is named after the late Yanick Dupré, who died in 1997 at the age of 24 following a 16-month battle with leukemia.
