Stonehouse invited to Hockey Canada National Women’s Team Development Camp

Blenheim’s Abby Stonehouse has been invited to Hockey Canada National Women’s Team Development Camp taking place August 2-9 at the Richmond Olympic Oval in Richmond, British Columbia.

Forty of the top emerging women hockey players from across the country were invited to the camp.

Stonehouse is going into her second year with the Penn State women’s hockey team. Last year the Nittany Lions made it to the Frozen Four, losing in the semi-finals to Wisconsin.

In 39 games with Penn State last season, Stonehouse had 14 goals and 10 assists for 24 points.

Members of Canada’s women’s development team will play a three game series against the United States Aug. 12-15 in Richmond B.C.
